Securities
For some, it can make good sense to donate securities, shares, or investments that have appreciated in value rather than donating cash of an equivalent amount. Making a donation of publicly traded securities to Crossroads can eliminate capital gain taxes. If you have securities to donate or need more information, contact the church.
